Reach out anytime if you have questions regarding options and possibilities (or if you know exactly what you want and are ready to submit the build queue deposit). I’d love to hear from you. Shop visits are always welcome with a heads-up.
Let me know a little about you and what you are looking for in a custom frame, I’ll respond with an email (or a text message if you prefer).
I grew up in Central America, on the Atlantic side of Panama, right on the edge of the canal. Jungle behind the house, ships floating past in the lake, iguanas and toucans in the trees. I moved up to the states for college and spent a few years in Flagstaff and have been in the Northwest ever since: Seattle, the Olympic Peninsula and finally Portland in 2007. I built my first frame at UBI in Ashland, OR in 2009 and started building as Buendia Bicycles in 2017 (tooling up and gaining experience in between)
I am a big fan of well made mechanical things, especially steel bicycles. Simple, clean and classic design, embracing smart developments such as thru axles and wider tires. I am motivated and excited to help people realize their dream bikes, if that includes carbon fiber and electronic elements or mechanical-everything, I am here to make that happen.
